Closing line value is the one measurement that separates an edge from a hot streak. TrueLine captures Pinnacle's closing line for you and grades every bet you log against it — automatically, with no spreadsheet and no line to look up.

Enter the bet as you placed it, or import a screenshot. No closing line to look up — that part is already captured.
When the bet settles, it is matched to Pinnacle's stored closing price for that event, market and selection.
Your CLV against the sharp close, per bet and lifetime. Positive over a real sample means the edge is likely real.
Pinnacle takes sharp action and moves on it instead of limiting the bettor, at margins retail books don't run. That makes its closing number the closest thing the market produces to a fair price. Grading against a retail close mostly measures that book's margin, not your edge.
So when Pinnacle never priced an event, we leave the bet ungraded and tell you why — rather than quietly swapping in a softer book's close and still calling it CLV. A number that changes meaning depending on which book happened to be available is worse than no number.
Tracking is unlimited on the free tier, and so is the core CLV number. The paid tiers add depth — trends and breakdowns — not access to your own results.

The same archive that grades your bets is published. Every figure on those pages is computed from captured lines against Pinnacle's close — you can check the methodology before you trust the tracker with your own results.
Closing line value (CLV) is the difference between the price you bet and the price the market settled at before the event started. If you bet a team at +150 and the line closes at +130, you got a better price than the final market consensus — that is positive CLV. Over a large enough sample it is the most reliable available evidence that your edge is real rather than variance, because the closing line is the market's most accurate forecast.
Pinnacle's. Pinnacle takes sharp action, moves on it rather than limiting it, and runs low margins, so its closing number is the closest thing to a fair price the market produces. Grading against a retail book's close is close to meaningless — retail closes carry more margin and lag the sharp move.
The bet stays ungraded. We do not substitute another sportsbook's closing line and present it as CLV against the sharp close — that would quietly change what the number means. You will see the bet in your log without a CLV figure, along with the reason it could not be graded.
No. TrueLine captures odds from the books it tracks every 30 minutes and stores Pinnacle's closing price for each event. When your bet settles, it is matched to that stored close automatically. You log the price you actually got; the benchmark is already in the archive.
Bet tracking is unlimited and free, and so is core CLV — your lifetime CLV percentage and the per-bet beat-or-miss against Pinnacle's close. Charting CLV over time is a Pro feature, and breaking CLV down by sport, sportsbook and period is Elite. There is no bet cap on the free tier.
The odds archive starts in March 2026 and has been capturing continuously since. We describe it as exactly that — there is no implied decade of history. Bets placed on events from before the archive began cannot be graded, because no closing line was captured for them.
